My thoughts

In this article, I also surprised at Taxol was first found in the bark of the Pacific Yew tree decades ago. Now rain forest is decreased by many, many people but this circumstances have to be broken, I think. I hope they can find other chemical substances superior to Taxol.

My Opinion

I don't know Taxol. I heard first it. Pacific yew tree is very important, but we cut down to use many way. We must save for cut down trees to benefit us save life. Then, people will study hard medical and nature science.

My opinion

I didn't know that Taxol. However, after reading this article, I understood it. The area of rainforests is decrease due to cut down the trees much more. The rainforests is very important in our life and chemical fields. Especially, in chemical fields, rainforests is the mountain of treasure because this area includes the possibility to discover the microbes. Therefore, we have to save rainforests to cut down much more, such as, creating boards which written "don't cut much over", etc.

My opinion

The cutting of the tree is done all over the world. Especially, in a developing country. But, we don't insist that "Stop cut trees". Because of advanced countries done and doing tree cutting. It is not necessary to stop cutting completely, think about balance of the cut and plants.

Chemists Take First Steps in Making Cancer Drug

Do you know that Taxol — and possibly other, undiscovered medicines — originate in nature? How do you think that the importance of saving natural world in the hopes of discovering pharmaceutical molecules?

After read this article, I am interested in cancer and its drugs and I was surprised at the fact the cancer drug Taxol was first found in the bark of the Pacific Yew tree decades ago. So I think the rainforest is a mountain of treasures.
This is why, we must save and continue prospecting in natural world in the hopes of discovering pharmaceutical molecules in order to cure many people of cancer.
